For the next 6 weeks, I'll be presenting a Hunter: the Vigil convention game I ran for DunDraCon 2014. Entitled Retrieval Team Zeta: A Plague of Spiders and using the new World of Darkness 2nd edition rules, it features a cell of Cheiron Group hunters as they engage in one of their first missions as a team. Today I'll present the leader of this team, an enthusiastic monster hunter who likes to lead from the front. As you might expect he of she is supposed to die.
Like all of the characters, I did not give him or her a name leave that and much of the character's physical description to the player. What has been decided is the background, skills and personality of the character.

Background: You are no stranger to violence, to yourself or others. Former military you've seen fighting in Africa and the Balkans. Once you got back you sought out some more conflict, a new challenge.You've been with the firm for 7 years now. You worked your way up: first as an independent contractor and then as full-time retrieval expert. Your promotion to team leader came as part of a half-dozen successful retrievals. But you know that is small potatoes in this company. After the werewolf encounter left you in traction for a month, you shared a room with "the Jackal" a legendary monster hunter who bagged over a hundred specimens. Until that fiasco in Canada left him in a coma. You intend to break his score.
Now that your legs work again (got to love the health plan), it is time to get back to work.
